Slum Life Survival (SLS) is a non-governmental organisation committed to making a difference in the lives of slum dwellers. Founded in 2018, we strive to address the unique challenges that slum communities face by empowering youth, children, and women, providing access to clean water, sanitation, and healthcare facilities, championing climate resilience, supporting communities to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change. and advocating for equitable urban development policies. We believe every individual has the right to a better life, regardless of socioeconomic status, and we work tirelessly towards that goal.

Our dedicated team of experts and volunteers are continually looking for new, creative methods for creating long-term solutions that enhance the lives of slum residents.

By emphasizing youth empowerment, child education, WASH services, advocacy for policy changes, women’s capacity building, support for persons with disabilities and the elderly, and environmental sustainability, we are committed to building sustainable and equitable communities. Through our Climate Change Initiative, we promote climate education, green entrepreneurship, and community-led environmental action, equipping slum communities to lead in the fight against climate change.
